Our Craftsmanship

At Shaka & Co, each hammock is a story woven by hand.

We work with a small community of artisans in Chiang Khong, a rural region in Northern Thailand, where hammock weaving is a tradition passed down through generations.

Between three and five days of work are needed to create just one hammock, with each piece made with patience, precision, and pride — using high-quality acrylic thread that’s both soft and weather-resistant.

Unlike mass-produced cotton hammocks, our pieces are ultra-durable, resistant to fading and mold, and designed to hug the body with perfect comfort.

By choosing Shaka & Co, you're not only bringing elegance to your outdoor space — you're also supporting ethical craftsmanship, fair wages, and a slower, more meaningful way of creating.

The Story Behind the Brand

Our hammocks are born from more than technique — they carry a vision. Discover how Shaka & Co began, and the inspiration that led us from the South of France to the handmade villages of Northern Thailand.
